Our clean, heated shop buildings are fully equipped to perform any and all
engine and outdrive related repairs. Our technicians are familiar with systems
and engines on everything from 18' runabouts to trawlers and motoryachts.
Fiberglass repairs, as well as other major repairs on boats up to 60’ are
performed indoors. In addition to those described below, we can handle most
of your boating service needs including: light carpentry, mechanical, electrical,
plumbing, refrigeration and air conditioning. Our specialized equipment usually
enables running gear repairs and cutlass bearing replacement without the
need for shaft removal.
Why use our Service Department?
In addition to having factory-trained, certified technicians, and experienced,
quality detailers and riggers, our staff is fully insured. We carry general
liability, marina operators liability, and workers' compensation insurance.
So, if one of our employees happens to get hurt while aboard your boat, you
don't have to worry about being sued. If an uninsured "mobile" mechanic
was to get injured on your boat, you could have a lawsuit filed against you.
Always ask your technician if he is fully insured, including worker's compensation.
Secondly, we have a Federal Identification Number. We pay our taxes just like
you do. If your mechanic doesn't have a Federal ID Number, he is probably not
paying taxes like a legitimate business. Sometimes our prices may seem a little
higher, but it's because we pay our taxes and insurance so you are protected.
